It's less than that. Well, for that type of guitar, not that particular one (custom made by Paul Reed Smith for Carlos Santana). But here in the States, a PRS Custom will cost you $2,200, so that's about 1,500 Euros.

Well it's kind of a standing joke...that I don't post pics. Many have tried and failed to get me to do that. But I have posted and will do so when we know each other a little better. Usually post one in an inconspicuous thread and then pm selected people to say...you have 3 minutes to view this thread, then the pic disappears...hehhh

Donkey and I, for example, go back a little way together and I have seen him many times, but still tease him by not posting a pic...it's just a bit of fun.:D

I figure that privacy on the internet is absolutely unattainable. If I were actually interested in stalking somebody down, I could probably get everything about you in a matter of minutes if I took a couple of l337 haxor courses. That's why I'm not super paranoid about staying anonymous. I don't dump my whole identity out there for everybody's consumption, but I figure that if somebody wants it, they can probably get it anyway.

This one, whose name is Dafina Alimar (Arabic for the bay colored hidden treasure) will go with me wherever I go in this world if I have to sell a kidney to ship her, LOL...She was born in to my arms, 8 years ago, May 13.

My life is changing ciaran. Thanks for asking. I raised the babies to sell and have sold them all across the country from Seattle to Mississppi. I have always double and triple checked references and made sure they went to good homes. Most of them have stayed with their original buyers, which is a good thing.

My broodmares went to a farm in Nebraska last summer. They have a wonderful home, lots of freedom, which they love.

Got divorced last year, had to sell my little farm and I'm now living on rental property where there is a landlord imposed limit to the number of horses I have.

I don't have the money right now to take care of more, and I'm looking at even more big changes in my life which would make it tough to keep them all.

I've spent the last year getting down to the basics in my life. I want to be more mobile

I don't feel bad about it. It was a good run while I was doing it, but now I'm heading to a new chapter of my life and it's all good. There will always be a horse in my life, but there doesn't have to be 11 of them!

Yes they are for me, viv. I would be doing this downsizing regardless of where life is leading me. I got to a point where raising foals was work, it wasn't fun anymore and I realized I just wanted a couple of horses to just ride ride ride and not spend so many sleepless nights up on foal watch. I also realized the breeding business was a great escape from someone. It kept me busy so I didn't have to deal with him.

Life is a wheel with ups and downs. I was down and in escape mode a few years ago. Now I've got something to run to instead of run from.

I'm downsizing everything in my life, well not everything, LOL, some things are being upsized, LOL.. but seriously, I've learned possessions weigh us down. So I keep getting rid of "stuff." Amazing the amount of stuff we acquire in life and most of it we just don't need. Which is fodder for another thread!
