To you all for this forum and to the person who got me started with this by sending me a link to the Irishrepublican forum. Most of my life I've been an activist working on the left side, but I got burned out, retreated and moved closer to my parents/siblings.
Big mistake!
Being here has revived me! this forum rocks and the debates are awesome, whether we agree or not. You are pulling me off the fence and back to the left where I belong, and for that I'm grateful! I'm starting to feel like me again....
I've got this bright red jacket I got when I worked with the Wisconsin Community Fund, a foundation that gave money to all kinds of left wing alternative groups, causes. That rocked giving away money! Anyway, the jacket says, "We're Left and We Love It." It's been hidden way back in my closet for years, but I think it's time to bring it back out again and not be afraid to wear it!
now, to click my heels three times and get the f..k outa kansas! Gawd I hate being close to my family during an election year. It's like sitting in a room with 20 Rush Limbaughs! a fate worse than death!
