Pure arrogance

Why?

If he was lambasting the beliefs of racists, sexists or homophobes would you still call him arrogant?

Religion is equally nonsensical.

Just watch that video again, and tell me he is not trying to make himself look superior to all people of faith in the world.

Perhaps, but he has the advantage of being right. :D

He doesn't have the advantage of anything!

Not one scientist can tell us what happened before the Big Bang, this is why people secular or otherwise have led to speculation. However the difference between secular and religious speculation (in the case of Christianity) is that we have provided a serious and logical path to what is probable to have happened in the first place, through historical and archaeological means we are also able to prove that much of the Bible was true. It's this arrogance on the behalf of atheism, that really turns me off secularism.

What historians rarely dispute, is that there was a person named Jesus of Nazareth, that was crucified.

Actually another difference between theistic speculation on the matter and atheistic speculation on the matter, is that although we provide a large proportion of information that suggests that a large proportion of religious claims may be true, atheistic speculation provides little or nothing to suggest that religious claims are outwardly false.

Find Noah's ark for me, buddy.

And besides, you can't prove a negative. The burden of proof is on you.

^^ that's a very convenient outcome for atheists isn't it

Noahs Ark landed on Mount Ararat, Turkey actually. It's hardly likely the remains would exist after 6,000 years though.

Religion is a major detractor from world peace.

Prove it. Until you do I will remain skeptical. Prove that a thousand foot long boat landed on Mount Ararat, Turkey, and that it had millions of animals on it.

The burden of proof is on you.

This is a massive understatement even.:) God said that 2 of every animal that ever existed should be on the ark. The number of animal species that ever existed was about 50,000,000,000, so the number on the Ark was 100,000,000,000.

The ark was (according to the bible) 450 feet long (300 cubits), 75 feet wide and 45 feet tall.

The conclusion is that on the ark there was 988,094 animals per square foot.

Not to mention other questions of how 2 kangaroos and Kuala bears swam from Australia to the middle east and how polar bears and penguins got there from the north pole.

quirk: There are many species of animals with common ancestors today, there was hardly as many animals on the Ark as there is today.

Actually quirk, 2 of every unclean animal and 7 of every clean animal. Consult Genesis 6 again I think.
